This seal plate (part number HESE‑205) is an OEM replacement component for the KUPA UP‑200 / UG12 nail‑drill handpiece. It is engineered for high‑speed use and is specified to help maintain the integrity of the handpiece’s internal assembly by sealing or closing off a section of the mechanism, reducing ingress of debris or unwanted movement.

Features

  • Helps maintain performance by sealing or closing an internal space, thereby reducing contamination, debris entry or loosening of internal components.

  • The copper material is appropriate for high‑speed environments, offering durability and wear resistance.

  • Because it’s an OEM specified part, it ensures proper fit and dimensions—substituting with an incorrect part may lead to misalignment or premature wear.

  • Material: Copper (specified “Material: Copper · High‑speed”)

  • Dimension: Outer diameter approx. 8 mm.

  • Application: Seal plate used inside the UP‑200 / UG12 handpiece series — likely sits in the front or spindle area to maintain a sealed or tightly fitted assembly in high‑RPM conditions.

Installation Tips

  • Confirm your handpiece’s parts list shows part # HESE‑205—some revisions may use alternate parts.

  • Inspect the seating area of the seal plate (housing, spindle, bearing seats) for wear or damage. A new seal plate will not fully restore performance if adjacent parts are worn or misaligned.

  1. Unplug the handpiece and allow it to stop completely before disassembling.

  2. Disassemble the section as required to access the seal plate location (likely in the front/spindle assembly or bearing housing).

  3. Remove the old seal plate, clean the area of debris, metal shavings or old lubricant.

  4. Install the new HESE‑205 seal plate, ensuring it seats fully and flat.

  5. Reassemble the handpiece and conduct a no‑load test (no bit) at low speed to verify smooth operation and absence of abnormal vibration or noise before returning to full use.
