This O‑ring is an OEM replacement seal designed for the KUPA UP‑200 / UG12 handpiece. It functions as a sealing ring to prevent dust, debris or lubricant escape in the high‑speed rotating assembly of the handpiece.

Installation Tips

  • Confirm your handpiece revision uses part number UP‑OR‑S‑8 (different revisions may have different O‑ring specs).

  • Inspect the seal groove, shaft and housing area for wear or damage—if the seating surfaces are worn, the new O‑ring may not restore full performance.

  1. Disconnect power and ensure the handpiece is fully stopped.

  2. Disassemble the area to access the O‑ring groove (typically near the spindle/housing interface).

  3. Remove the old O‑ring, clean the groove and surrounding surfaces of debris or lubricant.

  4. Install the new UP‑OR‑S‑8 O‑ring, ensuring it seats evenly and isn’t twisted.

  5. Re‑assemble the handpiece and run a no‑load test (no bit) to verify smooth operation before full use.
