UP-200 Motor Case UG10-301B
The UG10-301B motor case is a genuine replacement housing component for the KUPA UP-200 / UG12 high-speed handpiece. This metal case encloses the motor assembly and forms the structural body of the handpiece’s rotating unit, providing alignment, protection, and support for high-RPM operation.
Features
-
Restores structural integrity: If your handpiece’s motor housing is worn, cracked, or distorted, replacing the case helps restore alignment and limits vibration or wobble.
-
Helps ensure optimized performance: A correctly sized housing supports the motor properly, enabling stable operation at high RPMs and preventing undue stress on bearings or rotor.
-
OEM fit & quality: Using the KUPA-specified part helps maintain original tolerances and compatibility, reducing risk of misfit or performance loss.
- Application: Houses the motor and associated components in the KUPA UP-200 / UG12 handpiece, maintaining proper alignment and coil/motor support under load.
Installation Tips
-
Verify that your handpiece’s model uses part # UG10-301B; revisions or alternate models may use a different housing.
-
Inspect the current housing and motor assembly for wear, damage or misalignment—installing a new housing alone may not fully restore performance if internal components (like rotor, bearings) are worn.
-
Disconnect power and ensure the handpiece is completely stopped before disassembly.
-
Remove the front housing, collet/chuck assembly (if applicable) and any mounting screws to access the motor housing.
-
Extract the old motor case and clean the surrounding area of debris, metal shavings or residue.
-
Insert the new UG10-301B case, making sure it aligns correctly with internal components and seats properly.
-
Re-assemble the handpiece, then run it unloaded (no bit) to verify smooth operation, minimal vibration, and correct alignment before full use.
