This is the OEM replacement chuck case (front-nose housing for the collet/chuck assembly) for the KUPA UP-200 / UG12 high-speed nail-drill handpiece series. It is manufactured from carbon steel and designed to maintain structural integrity and precise alignment of the chuck/collet interface under high-RPM operation.

Features

  • Precision alignment: Replacing a damaged or worn chuck case restores the concentricity of the collet/chuck system, reducing bit wobble and vibration.

  • Durability: Carbon steel construction supports high-speed operation and resists deformation under load.

  • Extended handpiece life: Rather than discarding the whole handpiece, replacing this major front component can effectively refresh performance.

  • OEM-fit: Ensures dimensional and compatibility standards of KUPA’s original design, reducing mismatches in service.

  • Material: Carbon steel, rated for high speed.

  • Dimensions:

    • Collector end diameter: ~ 5.9 mm

    • Length: ~ 37.5 mm

    • End-case diameter: ~ 9.96 mm

  • Application: Front-end of handpiece housing that supports the chuck mechanism of the UP-200 / UG12 series

Installation Tips

  • Confirm your handpiece model/variant uses the UG10-101 chuck case, as other revisions may use different parts.

  • Inspect the internal components (spindle, bearings, collet, cam-balls) for wear: a new case won’t restore performance if other major parts are compromised.

  1. Unplug the handpiece and allow it to stop fully.

  2. Remove the previous front nose/chuck assembly following manufacturer service instructions.

  3. Extract the old chuck case, clean out any debris, shavings, or old lubricant.

  4. Install the new UG10-101, ensuring correct orientation and proper seating.

  5. Reassemble the handpiece, then run a no-load test (without a bit) to confirm smooth operation and minimal vibration prior to full use.
