Installation Tips

  • When performing the replacement, check adjacent components (bearings, dust seals, collet housing) for wear—since a new spindle on a worn housing may not resolve all issues.

  1. Ensure power off and handpiece unplugged.

  2. Disassemble the front housing and chuck assembly to access spindle.

  3. Remove the old spindle carefully; clean out any metal shavings, debris or lubricant residue.

  4. Insert the new spindle #520K24, ensure proper seating and alignment with the bearing races and chuck interface.

  5. Re-assemble the front section, then run the handpiece unloaded (with no bit) to verify smooth rotation and check for any abnormal noise or vibration.
