The spindle #520K24 is an OEM replacement shaft made by KUPA for its KP-series nail-drill handpieces—specifically the KP-55 model. This part serves as a critical rotating component inside the handpiece’s front end, supporting the bit chuck, bearings and high-speed motor assembly. It is precision-machined in steel to OEM specifications for high-RPM stability and long-term durability.
Features
-
OEM-correct fit & finish, designed specifically for KP-55 handpieces. Precise dimensions (9.44 mm × Length 40.34 mm) ensure proper fit and alignment.
-
Steel construction designed for high-RPM, professional usage.
Installation Tips
-
Confirm the handpiece is indeed KP-55 (not a KP-60 or other variant which may have different internal parts).
-
Measure or compare the existing spindle dimensions to the listed size (Ø 9.44 mm × Length 40.34 mm) to ensure match.
-
When performing the replacement, check adjacent components (bearings, dust seals, collet housing) for wear—since a new spindle on a worn housing may not resolve all issues.
-
Ensure power off and handpiece unplugged.
-
Disassemble the front housing and chuck assembly to access spindle.
-
Remove the old spindle carefully; clean out any metal shavings, debris or lubricant residue.
-
Insert the new spindle #520K24, ensure proper seating and alignment with the bearing races and chuck interface.
-
Re-assemble the front section, then run the handpiece unloaded (with no bit) to verify smooth rotation and check for any abnormal noise or vibration.
