KP-55 Bearing 1060ZZ

This bearing set is designed as a replacement for the high-speed handpiece models KP-55 and KP-60. Over time, bearings can wear out, generate excess vibration, run hot, or become noisy. Replacing the bearings helps restore smooth rotation, minimal noise, and longer life for the handpiece. Available as authentic KUPA OEM bearings (#1060ZZ, #128-2Z) and compatible replacement kits.

• OEM part: Bearing #128-2Z (8 mm ID × 12 mm OD × 3.5 mm width)

• Suitable replacement bearing kits compatible with KP-55, KP-60 and UP200. Helps reduce handpiece heat, noise, and vibration. Extends the lifespan of the handpiece by renewing its rotating/sliding components.

Installation Tips

• Disassemble the handpiece per manufacturer instructions (ensure power off, disconnect from controller).

• Remove the old bearings carefully — note orientation, dust seals, spacers.

• Clean the internal housing and spindle shaft of any debris or metal dust.

• Press in new bearings evenly (use a suitable bearing-press tool or drift) to avoid damaging the raceways.

• Reinstall any dust seals, washers or spacers that were removed. For best results, use a small amount of high-speed tool oil or bearing grease specified for nail-drill handpieces.

• After reassembly, run the handpiece briefly unloaded to check for smooth rotation and minimal noise before use.
