Installation Tips

  • Confirm your handpiece uses part #KS-108; some revisions/models might use a different washer size.

  • Inspect the washer seating area for wear, damage or deformation — a new washer won’t correct major bearing or housing issues.

  1. Disconnect and power off the handpiece; ensure full stop.

  2. Disassemble the front/spindle area to access the washer location.

  3. Remove the old washer, clean the seating surfaces of debris or metal shavings.

  4. Insert the new KS-108 washer, ensuring it lies flat and is fully seated without tilt.

  5. Reassemble and test the handpiece unloaded (no bit) to verify smooth operation and no abnormal vibration or noise before full use.
