UP-200 Metal Spacer KS-107
This spacer is an OEM replacement component specified for the KUPA UP-200 / UG12 handpiece series. It functions as a thin shim/spacer inside the handpiece’s high-speed assembly—such as between bearing surfaces, shaft/housing junctions or similar internal locations—to maintain precise clearance and alignment.
Features
-
Maintains correct internal spacing in the handpiece, which helps ensure smooth rotation, minimal vibration, and proper bearing/housing alignment.
-
Helps reduce wear on adjacent components (bearings, shafts, housings) by maintaining designed clearances.
-
Cost-efficient maintenance part: replacing this shim during servicing can restore performance without replacing larger assemblies.
-
OEM specified: ensures correct dimensions and material for the intended handpiece model.
-
Dimensions: ID ~3.5 mm · OD ~10 mm · Thickness ~0.2 mm
-
Material: Copper, suited for “high‐speed” environments
Installation Tips
-
Confirm that your handpiece uses the KS-107 spacer (check parts list or existing spacer).
-
Inspect the seating surfaces and adjacent components for wear or damage—if the housing or shaft is worn, simply installing a new spacer may not fully restore optimal performance.
-
Disconnect and power off the handpiece; ensure it is fully stopped.
-
Disassemble the relevant section (e.g., front housing or spindle area) to access where the spacer sits.
-
Remove the old spacer, clean the area of any debris or metal shavings.
-
Insert the new KS-107 spacer, making sure it lies flat and is correctly seated.
-
Re-assemble the handpiece and perform a no-load test (with no bit installed) at low speed to verify smooth operation and minimal vibration before full operational use.
