The UG10-108 dust seal is an OEM‐replacement part for KUPA’s UP-200 / UG12 high‐speed handpieces. It functions as the front‐end protective seal, preventing dust, debris and metal shavings from entering the internal spindle and bearing zones—critical for maintaining smooth, professional performance in high-RPM nail-drill handpieces.

Installation Tips

  • Confirm the handpiece model and internal revision to ensure that the correct dust seal part #UG10-108 is required.

  • Inspect the seating groove and surrounding front housing for wear, debris or damage—simply installing a new seal won’t fix a damaged housing.

  1. Power off and unplug the handpiece; allow it to stop fully.

  2. Disassemble the front housing / nose cone to reach the dust seal location.

  3. Remove the old dust seal, clean the groove thoroughly of debris, metal shavings or damage.

  4. Insert the new UG10-108 dust seal, ensuring correct orientation and full seating.

  5. Re-assemble the handpiece and run a no-load test (without bit) to ensure smooth rotation and no abnormal noise or vibration before returning to normal use.
