KP-55A Housing KP5501
This housing (version 102) is a full-body shell designed for the KUPA KP-55 handpiece. It replaces the outer metal housing of the handpiece, restoring structural integrity, proper internal alignment and original fit & finish.
Features
-
OEM designated “Housing Version 102 #KP55-01, Each” from KUPA’s parts list.
-
Machined metal body, sized for the KP-55 handpiece internal assembly (Ø ~20 mm, Length ~71.26 mm).
-
Designed to restore original alignment of front-end components (spindle, bearings, collet) when housing is worn, scratched or damaged.
Installation Tips
-
Confirm that your handpiece is indeed the KP-55 version that uses the Version 102 housing (older or variant models might have different housing part numbers).
-
Check that the existing housing dimensions match roughly: ~20 mm diameter and ~71.26 mm length.
-
When replacing the housing, inspect all internals: bearings, seals, shaft, collet. A new housing alone may not solve performance issues if other parts are worn.
-
Disconnect and power off the handpiece prior to disassembly.
-
Remove the front nose, collet chuck and unscrew the old housing or open the body as needed.
-
Transfer or reinstall all internal components into the new housing with care—ensure clean surfaces, correct orientation and proper mounting.
-
Re-assemble the handpiece, then test unloaded (no bit) at low speed to verify smooth operation, proper alignment and absence of vibration before full use.
