Installation Tips

  • Confirm your handpiece model is KP-60 (or variant) and that your existing motor matches the dimensions listed.

  • Inspect surrounding components (bearings, housing, collet) — if those are worn, the new motor alone may not fully restore ideal performance.

  1. Disconnect power and let the handpiece fully stop.

  2. Disassemble front housing/spindle assembly as per manufacturer instructions.

  3. Remove old motor carefully, clean the motor compartment of debris/metal shavings.

  4. Install the new motor ensuring correct seating, alignment, and secure mount.

  5. Reassemble the handpiece and test under no-load (without bit) to verify smooth rotation and absence of abnormal vibration or noise before full use.
