Installation Tips
-
Confirm your handpiece version uses part #536K01 — older or alternate revisions may use a different housing part number.
-
Inspect the existing housing for deformation, thread damage, dents, or worn mounting surfaces — installing a new housing onto damaged internals may not fully restore performance.
-
Disconnect and power off the handpiece; allow it to fully stop.
-
Remove the front nose/cap, collet/chuck and any mounting screws to access the housing.
-
Carefully remove the old housing shell, noting orientation and how internals are mounted.
-
Clean the internal mounting surfaces of debris, metal shavings, old lubricant or damage.
-
Insert the new #536K01 housing, reinstall internal components (motor, bearings, spindle, front assembly) ensuring correct placement and alignment.
-
Reassemble the front nose/collet and perform a test run: no bit installed at low speed first to verify smooth rotation and minimal vibration before full operational use.
