KP-60 Drive Shaft 536K07
The #536K07 drive shaft is a precision-machined steel component designed for use in KUPA KP-series handpieces (specifically the KP-60 model). It supports the internal rotor or spindle assembly by transmitting rotation and maintaining alignment under high-speed operation.
Features
-
Dimensions: Outside diameter approx. 7.93 mm (0.31″); length approx. 31.08 mm (0.86″).
-
Material: Steel, designed for high-speed applications in professional nail-drill handpieces.
Installation Tips
-
Confirm that your handpiece indeed uses the part #536K07 (check your existing drive shaft dimensions and part reference).
-
Inspect adjacent components (bearings, housing, collet/chuck) for wear — a new shaft alone may not fully restore performance if other parts are compromised.
-
Unplug the handpiece and allow full stop before beginning work.
-
Disassemble the front assembly to remove the old shaft.
-
Clean any debris, metal shavings or lubricant residue from the shaft housing.
-
Install the new #536K07 shaft, ensuring correct seating, alignment and no unwanted play.
-
Re-assemble the handpiece, then run it unloaded (no bit) at low speed to test for smooth operation and absence of abnormal vibration or noise before normal use.
