This O-ring is a precision rubber seal designed for use with the KP-55 handpiece. It helps maintain the internal seal integrity of the handpiece’s spindle or housing area, preventing ingress of debris, dust or fluids, thereby helping to protect internal components and preserve smooth operation.

Installation Tips

  • Confirm that your current O-ring dimension matches approx. 5.00 mm OD × 2.80 mm ID × 0.92 mm thickness.

  • Inspect the area where the O-ring is seated — if housing or spindle nose has been damaged or deformed, simply replacing the O-ring may not solve leaks or debris ingress.

  • Disconnect the handpiece and ensure it is powered off/unplugged.

  • Disassemble the front-end as per manufacturer instructions to access the O-ring groove.

  • Remove old seal, clean the groove and surrounding surfaces of any residue or particles.

  • Install the new O-ring ensuring it seats correctly and is not twisted or out of position.

  • Re-assemble the handpiece and test it (ideally with low or no load) to confirm smooth operation and no abnormal operation (vibration, noise, heat).
